Live Era: '87–'93 is a live album released by Guns N' Roses on November 23, 1999. It consists of live recordings from the band's performances from 1987 to 1993, with the majority being from the highly successful Use Your Illusion Tour.

Controversy[]

The album has generated a fair deal of controversy. Firstly, drummer Steven Adler and rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin are listed in the credits as Guns N' Roses members, while drummer Matt Sorum and rhythm guitarist Gilby Clarke are simply listed as "additional musicians", despite playing on the majority of the tracks on the album.

Info[]

  • This was the only full Live Album officially released (Live Like A ?!*@ Suicide & the Japan-only Live From The Jungle are four and six song EPs respectfully) until Appetite for Democracy 3D was released in 2014.
