G N' R Lies (sometimes referred to as simply Lies) is the second studio album by Guns N' Roses, released on November 29, 1988 on Geffen Records. While having only four new tracks (the first four came from previous EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide), the album was treated as a studio album and not an EP, selling five million copies in the United States alone. The four new tracks on Lies were all recorded in acoustic form, including an acoustic rendition of "You're Crazy", previously featured on Appetite for Destruction.
The album yielded one single, "Patience", which peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
Lies is currently the last studio album to feature the Appetite era Guns N' Roses lineup of Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler.
